Ari is almost here! 10 more weeks and he finally joins the family! i'm really excited to meet him. today is Abi's birthday she finally turns 1!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORDITA!

q kool!

there have been so many cool things going on lately. so far this summer is going great, except for me feeling weird. I hope soon i can go back to feeling normal again...lol. last weekend was pretty fun. it was benny's b-day, there was a cool art show, a bike ride, and a sneaker/hip-hop event. something cool happened to me at the sneaker/hip-hop event. this really cool young lady told me she loved my work. that made me feel really proud. I wish i could have gotten the chance to talk to her a little longer. maybe next time.

i'm back!

while we were in LA we met movie stars, went to a cool art show, ate some hot dogs at pinks, and went to the beach. that's actually just part of the trip. it seemed like we were none stop while we were out there. i had loads of fun. we stayed at the custom hotel...that place was so cool! i think my favorite part of the trip was hanging out at the beach. the weather was cool. i had a blast in LA, but i'm happy to be home. i'll post some pictures of the trip later.

trip

looks like i'm going to LA again. This time i'm not letting the weather come between me and my trip. so bad weather don't even think about! we finally moved to our new apartment...i love it. good news. i'm going to be in another art show. i think it's going to be in june. i'll get the exact date and post it up.

TGIF

i love waking up on my regular work week and thinking....ITS FRIDAY! then i like to drive to work while listening to some good morning music. when i get to work i like to get myself a nice cup of coffee. i also like drinking my coffee while i'm on my computer catching up on my daily news or blogging :) today is going to be a great day!!!

what a weekend

last weekend was very eventful! i got the chance to go to some very cool parties at the hotel palomar for the dallas internation film festival. i got the chance to meet lou diamond phillips at the hotel palomar party. that was sooooooo cool! it was also daniel's birthday, which we clebrated at calle doce. i had so much fun! also last week the entire folklorico class performed at UNT. we got a little lost on the way back! our next performance will be at mountain view college. i will post the date as soon as i find out!

vampire weekend

yesterday i went to see vampire weekend at the house of blues! it was such an incredible show! i really enjoyed this show because they are one of my most favorite bands...at the moment. last weekend i went to the alicia keys concert at nokia theater. i'm glad i've been going to concerts and shows...i really miss the excitement.

loads of fun

well we made it back from austin safe and sound. sxsw was super fun this year! we saw so many different acts...from sharon jones and the dap kings to major lazers! we pretty much partied from the moment we set foot in austin. i can't wait for next year. i had a dream last night that i had my own studio and was making a bunch of paintings. i think it's time for me to get to work!

the love of my life

this morning i woke up thinking it's going to be another day. when i turned around to get out of bed there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on my night stand. my wonderful husband left them for me early in the morning. i feel like the luckiest gal in the world.

it's snowing

the weather is beautiful, but it better not ruin my trip tomorrow. cant wait to leave...by this time tomorrow i will be in LA!

i'm going to LA!!!!!! i'm really excited to go. daniel will be showing his work at a gallery in LA. i hope this time around i get to see some movie stars.

tonights the night

tonight is the soft opening for sweet nothings. its going to ba in the bishop arts district. i know it's going to be really cold, but it will be worth it. also the main reception will be held saturday night. see you there!

a new year!

i can't believe its 2010...time flies! i had a great 2009, and i hope my 2010 is better. so far it seems to be going great. i have a group show coming up on the 9th. my anniversary is this tuesday! two years since daniel and i have been married. i love him! i saw the movie UP last night...it was so cute.
