trip

looks like i'm going to LA again. This time i'm not letting the weather come between me and my trip. so bad weather don't even think about! we finally moved to our new apartment...i love it. good news. i'm going to be in another art show. i think it's going to be in june. i'll get the exact date and post it up.

mark your calender, and set a side either one of these dates: april 29th-May 1st. MVC will be presenting an all dance performance in the performance hall. we've been working our butts off for this show! I hope all goes well. it's going to be a great show!

TGIF

i love waking up on my regular work week and thinking....ITS FRIDAY! then i like to drive to work while listening to some good morning music. when i get to work i like to get myself a nice cup of coffee. i also like drinking my coffee while i'm on my computer catching up on my daily news or blogging :) today is going to be a great day!!!

what a weekend

last weekend was very eventful! i got the chance to go to some very cool parties at the hotel palomar for the dallas internation film festival. i got the chance to meet lou diamond phillips at the hotel palomar party. that was sooooooo cool! it was also daniel's birthday, which we clebrated at calle doce. i had so much fun! also last week the entire folklorico class performed at UNT. we got a little lost on the way back! our next performance will be at mountain view college. i will post the date as soon as i find out!

vampire weekend

yesterday i went to see vampire weekend at the house of blues! it was such an incredible show! i really enjoyed this show because they are one of my most favorite bands...at the moment. last weekend i went to the alicia keys concert at nokia theater. i'm glad i've been going to concerts and shows...i really miss the excitement.

loads of fun

well we made it back from austin safe and sound. sxsw was super fun this year! we saw so many different acts...from sharon jones and the dap kings to major lazers! we pretty much partied from the moment we set foot in austin. i can't wait for next year. i had a dream last night that i had my own studio and was making a bunch of paintings. i think it's time for me to get to work!

april 18th julieta venegas is coming to the house of blues. its a private event so anyone who wants to attend has to register through this website http://www.jdstudiono7.com. make sure you register because if you dont you cant get in. i'm so excited to see her play again!
